How Performance & Scoring Work

Time-weighted math

Time-Weighted Return

Points on the leaderboard are calculated purely from time-weighted return. This ensures that ranking on percentage return is fair and unaffected by cash additions or withdrawals mid-competition.

Risk Is Measured, Not Penalized

Each result displays your Sharpe ratio, maximum drawdown, and beta. These do not subtract from points, but reveal whether returns came from solid process or wild speculation.

Thesis & Stop-Loss Journaling

Every trade—whether entered by hand, synced via Robinhood / SnapTrade, or imported—must record why you bought it and your stop-loss price to instill disciplined risk management.
